Inspirado por algumas letras em um logotipo desenhado \u00e0 m\u00e3o, Swashington \u00e9 uma fonte serif com uma sensa\u00e7\u00e3o do in\u00edcio do s\u00e9culo 20 e ainda evoca as fontes swash dos anos 1970 tamb\u00e9m. A verdadeira carne deste tipo de letra vem com o uso de todas as variantes swash e ligadura, permitindo uma enorme quantidade de talento tipogr\u00e1fico. Come\u00e7ando com o logotipo original, Jason Walcott foi movido a desenvolver essas formas de letras interessantes em uma fonte completa com toda a for\u00e7a que ele poderia reunir. Al\u00e9m de um conjunto abrangente de letras Swash e Alternate, tamb\u00e9m existem mais de 270 Ligaturas Discricion\u00e1rias que podem ser usadas para criar diferentes possibilidades, misturando e combinando. Inclu\u00eddos com as fontes baixadas est\u00e3o dois arquivos .pdf mostrando todos os tra\u00e7os e ligaduras, que podem ser impressos e usados para f\u00e1cil refer\u00eancia.
